Hey, Jane here. I was born in the US, but my mom is from Spain, and through her, I’ve learned about the various festivals in Spain. In Spain, people love celebrating life, and festivals are a true reflection of rich culture and traditions.
Every year, she goes back home, and I always accompany her to connect with my roots. One of the most famous festivals is La Tomatina, featuring an epic tomato fight that’s messy but so much fun. Another favorite is Feria de Abril, a celebration filled with flamenco music, colorful dresses, and tasty food that lasts for a week.
During Holy Week, you’ll witness solemn processions and beautifully decorated floats parading through the streets. And, of course, there’s the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, which is exhilarating and definitely not for the faint-hearted.
In Spain, festivals are not just events; they’re a way of life. We come together as a community, share joy, and honor our traditions. These festivals have been passed down through generations and hold a special place in our hearts.
So, if you ever plan to visit Spain, make sure to join our festivities and experience the passion and energy that make our festivals unforgettable.
